ROVEWORKS CAMERA

Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

Effective 24 July 2026 · Last updated 24 July 2026 · ROVEWORKS CAMERA (iOS)

In short. ROVEWORKS CAMERA collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no analytics. Your photos and settings stay on your device and are never sent to ROVEWORKS or anyone else.

1. Who this covers

ROVEWORKS ("we") publishes the iOS application ROVEWORKS CAMERA (the "app"). This policy explains how the app handles information. It applies to the app itself and to this website.

2. Data we collect

We collect no personal data through the app. There is no registration, no sign-in, and no contact form inside the app. The app contains no analytics software, no advertising identifiers, and no third-party tracking of any kind.

Because we hold no information that identifies you, we cannot look up, export, or delete data associated with an individual user — none exists.

3. Device permissions the app requests

The app asks for the permissions below in order to work as a camera. Each is used only for the stated purpose, and nothing obtained through them leaves your device.

Permission Why it's used Sent off device
Camera To capture photos and show the live preview. This is the app's core function. No
Photos To save your captures to the device photo library, and to show the photos taken with this app in the in-app gallery. No
Location Off by default. Only if you turn it on in Settings, the capture location is written into the photo file's metadata (EXIF), the same way a standalone digital camera geotags an image. No
Motion & orientation To display the level indicator and adjust the layout when you rotate the device. No

You can withdraw any of these at any time in Settings > ROVEWORKS CAMERA on your iPhone. Turning off location access does not affect capture or any other feature.

4. Where your photos and settings live

Photos captured with the app (HEIF, JPG and RAW .dng) are written only to your device's photo library. We have no access to them.

Your film look selection, dial values, and custom presets are stored only in the app's local storage on the device. Deleting the app removes those settings; the photos remain in your photo library.

5. Payment information

Pro Pack is purchased through Apple's App Store. Payment methods, card details and billing addresses are handled entirely by Apple — neither the app nor ROVEWORKS receives or stores any of it. The app only checks with Apple whether the purchase exists, and unlocks the corresponding features.

Billing questions and refunds are governed by Apple's policies and can be raised at Apple Support.

6. Sharing and processors

Since we collect no personal data, there is nothing to share with third parties and no processing is outsourced. The app bundles no advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or social sign-in libraries.

7. Retention and deletion

We hold no user data, so there is nothing for us to retain or delete. Photos and settings stored on your device are removed by you, through the Photos app and iOS Settings.

8. Children

The app is not directed at children, and it collects no personal data from anyone regardless of age.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data — including under the GDPR and the Korean Personal Information Protection Act. As we hold no data identifying you, there is nothing for such a request to act on. You are welcome to contact us at the address below with any question.
